Financial Transparency

Transparent with every gift

Generosity deserves transparency. When you give to FAITH Foundation, you are entrusting us with resources meant to keep families housed and equipped — and we take that trust seriously. This page lays out the commitments and standards that govern how we raise, steward, and report on every dollar.

Our Promise

Why transparency is non-negotiable for us

The second letter in our name stands for Affordable — the promise that owning a home should be within reach — and keeping that promise requires transparent stewardship. We believe that the resources entrusted to a nonprofit are a sacred trust, and that the people we serve and the donors who fund our work both deserve to see, in plain terms, how their generosity is used. Transparency is how we earn and keep that trust over the long haul.

Too often, families in crisis are wary of asking for help because they have been let down before, and donors hesitate to give because they cannot see where their money goes. We refuse to add to that skepticism. Instead, we hold ourselves to clear standards: direct gifts toward measurable, local impact; keep administrative costs lean; and report our outcomes honestly, including the hard parts.

As a young and growing organization, we know our credibility is built one transparent decision at a time. That is why we publish our commitments here, make our governing documents available on request, and welcome any donor to ask exactly how their gift was used. If you ever have a question about our finances, we want you to ask — and we promise a straight answer.

Where Your Gift Goes

Directed toward measurable, local impact

Donations are directed toward the work that moves families into homes of their own. Every gift moves through these program areas.

Our Stewardship Commitments

The standards we hold ourselves to

These commitments guide every financial decision we make, from how we accept a gift to how we put it to work for families in need.

  • Every dollar is stewarded with care

We treat each gift as a sacred trust. Donations are directed toward measurable impact — down payment assistance vouchers, our housing voucher program, and supporting instruction programs — never toward waste or excess. Stewardship is not a slogan for us; it is a commitment that shapes every financial decision we make.

  • We report our outcomes openly

Transparency means showing our work on a schedule we commit to in advance. Our first annual impact summary is committed for November 24, 2026 and will report how many families were served and where assistance was directed. Until then our Impact page separates verified results from Year One targets rather than blending them, and when we fall short of a target we will say so.

  • Donations are tax-deductible

FAITH Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and we provide receipts for your records so you can give with confidence.

  • Our funding sources are disclosed

Our housing programs are funded by charitable giving from individuals and businesses and by community fundraising, and we intend to pursue grant funding as we grow. Our corporate partnership model invites homebuilders to honor FAITH Foundation down payment assistance vouchers as a direct discount to qualifying buyers and to make charitable contributions per home sold. As a newly established organization we are actively building that donor and partner base rather than reporting an established one, and we will name our funding sources as they are established so donors can trace how gifts sustain the work over time.

  • Donor privacy is protected

We never sell, rent, or trade donor information. The details you share with us are used only to process your gift, send receipts, and keep you informed about the impact you helped create — and only as you have permitted.

  • Funds follow our charitable mission

Gifts are used to advance our charitable purpose: helping families reach homeownership through down payment assistance across Texas. We maintain appropriate separation of duties and oversight so that spending decisions align with our mission and our governing board's direction.

How gifts are designated. Donations designated for our Housing Mission are used exclusively to advance that mission. Executive leadership and administrative operations are funded through separately designated operational support. Both are legitimate and both are necessary; we name the difference rather than blur it.

What being new means for these disclosures. FAITH Foundation is a recently established organization. We have not yet completed a full reporting year, so there is no audited financial statement or published Form 990 to link here yet. What we can offer today is our IRS determination letter above, this account of how gifts are designated and used, and a committed publication date for our first annual impact summary. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply a reporting history we do not have.
